SNAP
Using SNAP at the AFM
The Farmers’ Market accepts SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
We are not certified for HIP at this time.
SNAP recipients can exchange their SNAP benefits for AFM SNAP tokens at the
Market Managers table. These tokens can only be used at the Attleboro Farmers’
Market. Customers can use their AFM SNAP tokens to purchase SNAP eligible
purchases during market events. AFM SNAP tokens can not be replaced if lost
or stolen.
AFM SNAP tokens with the AFM logo will be in $1 and $5 denominations.
Customers use the AFM SNAP tokens when making purchases with farmers and
vendors; they are to be used the same as cash. No change can be given in a SNAP transaction as this is a violation of the federal SNAP program.
